What we do: Bio

With the advantages of postgraduate training at the Courtauld Institute, London, and more than 35 years' experience in

conservation and technical research, we are experienced at finding practical and pragmatic solutions to satisfy diverse needs and

budgets. Treatments range from studio-based projects on individual works to condition surveys of whole collections to establish conservation priorities. We carry out preventive and remedial work on site and assist with collections care, short-to-long term budget planning, rolling programs of studio and in-situ work and condition checking and reports for exhibition and insurance purposes. We advise on the storage, packing and transport of art works by experienced Fine Art carriers in the South-West and London. Full documentation and photography are carried out as standard.

Our clients are mostly private owners, art institutions and heritage collections. We work to the Code of Professional Standards, Judgement and Ethics regulated by the Institute of Conservation. The Studio fulfils international fire and security criteria and is covered by Hiscox professional conservators' insurance including Public Liability and Professional Indemnity. See our Terms & Conditions here
